Job Details:
Performs duties of accounts payable clerk/bookkeeper and provides human resources administrative support in a solo physician practice. The position is part-time (3 days per week) and reports to the physician manager.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Records receipts and payments into QuickBooks. Uses QuickBooks to print checks.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly financial reports and financial projections
Utilizes double entry bookkeeping
Maintains bookkeeping / accounts payable protocols and manual
Enters employee payroll payments produced by Paychecks company
Provides human resources administrative support including new hire paperwork and benefit administration and tracks employee use of benefits
Coordinates with offsite billing manager and offsite accountant
Manages purchasing
Coordinates with vendors regarding equipment, supplies, and plant management
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
Double entry bookkeeping skills and two or more years of bookkeeping experience required
Experience with QuickBooks desired
Computer skills, experience with Excel or other spreadsheet desired

Detail oriented and organized
Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities
Good work ethic, ability to learn quickly
Adaptability
Confidentiality
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical and administrative staff
